How AI Fence Pros researches, writes, checks, dates, and corrects its pages, and what we will not do to fill a page.
Who publishes this site
AIFencePros.com is published by AI Fence Media, an independent publisher that also runs AI Fence HQ (AI use cases for fence shops) and AI Fence Design (homeowner guides). Pages carry the AI Fence Media byline. We do not use fictional authors, fake reviewer credentials, or stock-photo bios.
How a page gets written
We pick topics from the questions fence contractors and homeowners actually ask: how to price a gate, what a quote should include, how to run 811 locates, where AI tools save office time. Pages are researched and drafted with AI tools under written house rules. The rules matter more than the tool, so here they are.
- Every number has a source. Dollar figures, wages, and percentages are quoted from a named public source, with the date that source shows and the date we checked it. If two sources disagree, we show both and say so.
- No made-up statistics, ratings, or rankings. We do not publish star ratings, "best of" scores, or savings percentages that we cannot trace to a source.
- Vendor claims stay vendor claims. When we describe a software product, we describe what the vendor's own public page says and label it that way. We do not repeat vendor performance numbers as fact.
- Local rules win. Building codes, permits, setbacks, pool barriers, and 811 rules vary by place. We tell readers what to ask and who decides. We never tell anyone to skip a locate.
- AI drafts, people decide. On our pages about using AI in a fence business, the advice is the same one we follow: AI output gets checked before anyone relies on it, and AI never sets prices, code calls, or safety steps on its own.
- Plain language. Short sentences, real jobsite terms, no hype.
Checks before publishing
- Source check. Each cited page is opened and the quoted figures are matched to the source text on the day we check it.
- Link and structure crawl. An automated crawl confirms the page loads, every internal link works, titles and descriptions are unique, and each page has one main heading.
- Structured data check.Article, FAQ, breadcrumb, and how-to markup is validated, and FAQ answers in the markup must match the answers visible on the page word for word.
- Depth check.Thin pages get expanded with useful, sourced detail or are not published. We do not pad pages with filler to hit a word count.
Dates: published, updated, last reviewed
Guides show a Last reviewed date near the top. That is the last time the page's content and sources were checked and the page was updated. Cost references also list the date each source shows and the date we checked it, in the Sources block at the bottom of the page. A design change alone does not change the reviewed date.
Corrections
If something is wrong, email [email protected] with the page address and what needs fixing. If you have a source, include it. We check every report. When we correct a factual error we fix the page, update the Last reviewed date, and keep the source link so anyone can check our work. We do not quietly change numbers without changing the date.
Advertising, sponsors, and affiliate links
Advertising and editorial are kept apart. Google AdSense chooses the ads that appear; we do not pick them and an ad is not an endorsement. Sponsor placements are labeled Sponsored, carry a material connection note when the publisher has a business relationship with the sponsor, sit outside the body of our guides, and use rel="sponsored" links. Sponsors cannot buy rankings, reviews, edits, or a place inside a guide or cost reference. If we ever use affiliate links, they are labeled where they appear. See the Disclosure page.
Photos
Jobsite photos are public domain or Creative Commons images, credited with license links on each photo and on our photo credits page. They do not show our own crews or any client. We do not present a stock or library photo as our own work.
Independence
AI Fence Media is an independent publisher. No fence manufacturer, software vendor, supplier, or retailer named on our sites pays for coverage. We do not take referral fees from fence contractors and we do not rank local installers.
